Ductless-rooftop air handling units

The OPTIMA TOP rooftop air handling units are intended for ventilating and heatingcooling large-cubature rooms without internal partition walls.

Such rooms usually do not enable the option of conducting typical, duct-based ventilation installations, or conducting such installations is very difficult. Such devices consist of two function units – internal and external – located usually on the roof of the building.

INTENDED PURPOSE

Open-space buildings: production halls, warehouses, store halls, gyms or other sports facilities.

There is a possibility of configuring the dimensions, the size and the functions to adapt the air handling units to the individual requirements of each building and room requiring a ventilation – air conditioning system.

SPECIFICATION

  • Highest quality subassemblies and elements supplied by European manufacturers exclusively, capable of operating in the most demanding conditions.
  • Two units forming one whole:

 

– external, mounted on the roof of the ventilated buildings, consisting of: a supply fan, an exhaust fan, system of dampers: intake, outlet and recirculation  damper, a cross-flow exchanger, intakes and exhausts, as well as a feed filter,

– internal (sub-ceiling), placed inside the ventilated room, consisting of: a swirl and air diffuser (option), a heater or cooler, and an exhaust air filter.

  • The device is equipped with a set of flow adjustment dampers and inspection covers from the service side, facilitating access to the unit’s components.
  • The control system maintains the preset temperature in the room, controlling the operation of the heater and recirculation.
  • The device can work in three modes: full recirculation with heating, ventilation with recirculation without heating, and ventilation with heating and recirculation.
  • The control set protects the water heater against freezing.
