The construction of a new facility for Widzew Łódź started on June 3rd, 2015. Not even 2 years later, on February 2nd 2017, Łódź acquired the new modern stadium that was built in the place of old playing field.
The total cost of construction is estimated at 153 million zlotys.
The official inauguration took place on March 18th, 2017. On that day over 18000 supporters was watching the III league match between Widzew Łódź and Motor Lubawa. The final score was 2:0 and the hosts could celebrate their victory.
On northern, southern and eastern stands there are entrances for spectators, food corner, commercial premises for rent and a promenade. On the western side there are locker rooms, gym, wellness area, social rooms, VIP area, two TV studios and some offices.
The facility is equipped with 32 Clima Gold units (Optima and Opal) with complete control set and with total air volume
over 70 000 m3/h.
