LAMINARY CEILING

Laminar supply ceiling (SLM) is a special suspended (ceiling) device designed to ensure adequate purity and filtration of air supplied to operating theaters.

The main feature of ceilings is guaranteeing optimal air parameters for those staying in their work zone, patients and medical staff, such as: cleanliness, air flow speed, temperature and humidity.

CHARACTERISTIC

The devices are equipped with absolute filters (HEPA) with a high filtration class (guaranteed by the manufacturer). Appropriate selection of floor sizes ensures stable, laminar air flow to the operating room at the level of 0.15 to 0.3 m / s.

No turbulent flow, which guarantees the highest comfort, long filter life and ensures the highest hygiene requirements for the facilities served.

The ceiling structure consists of individual modules tightly connected to each other – the size of each ceiling or module.

They are adapted to the individual requirements of each operating room. In addition, the device design includes space for an operating lamp.

The whole structure is made of stainless steel (304), including outlet, perforated “panels” (screens) visible from the operating room.

The SLM operating principle is very simple. The air is supplied to the ceiling through a supply ventilation system (e.g. RECYCLING APPARATUS – OPTIMA REC). After passing through the inlet / inlet frame, it spreads over all the smaller modules of the device, where due to overpressure, caused by filter resistance, it flows steadily and evenly into the operating room space.
